Air condition works with bang or unplug and plug
I have a recurring AC issue. When it is warm, about 85 degrees and below, my AC works well. In the fall, winter and early spring, AC and heater work well. My problems start in the late spring months when it starts to get warm and in the summer (I live in MS). The AC will not come on when I start my car on a hot day. The "check the connection of the air..." message will display. On a lucky day, with a bang on the dashboard (around the radio area), the AC will start working again. When it does not, I will take out the radio and disconnect all connections to the AC amplifier, reconnect and the AC will work again. I have done this for the past year or so, and I find it annoying.
Another issue I have is when the AC is running, there will be a period where the air is warm, and it gets very uncomfortable. I could last for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Question: can anyone relate to what I am experiencing?
Any help, anyone?
