Flippin on turns?
How easy is it to flip a LX470 on a turn?
I've done some pretty sharp turns at around 30-40mph and no real problems.
When I do turns like that I will always turn the wheels the opposite direction a bit before turning them to the direction I want to go. That seems to help keep the car from tilting. I also have the suspension set on normal.
Thanks,
Robert

Please tell me you are kidding regarding your driving technique. If so, ha ha, the joke is on me, I guess... If not, here is the best advice you could EVER hope for, for you and those who drive around you.
1. Park the LX470 in a nice, safe garage
2. Give the keys to someone who won't return them until you've successfully completed Step 3. Dad would be a good choice. (let him read this thread, for bonus points)
3. TAKE A PERFORMANCE DRIVING SCHOOL (ie Skip Barber, etc.)
Seriously, your question (again, if serious) indicates dangerous ignorance regarding driving technique, vehicle dynamics and general physics. Piloting a $60,000, 300 bhp, 6000 lb truck requires more than average skill if you are attempting to challenge its lateral handling capabilities.
Not trying to be cute or snide here, but you really need intervention before you hurt yourself as well as an innocent bystander.
Let us know how it turns out, and good luck!

Actually, I think his particular LX is rated at 230; but frankly, what is the point? Does it weigh exactly 6,000 lbs?... Ummm, no. Does it cost exactly $60,000? Well, you (hopefully) are starting to get the idea.
I was probably thinking about the 320 ft/lbs of torque, not that any of this has any relevance to this thread.
