Need to straighten bend in Vossen Wheel
After having a flat earlier this week I learned that I have a slight bend in one of my vossen 22" wheels that is letting air escape. I called Vossen and they do not do repairs and my local tire store knows of no one in my area (Lexington, KY) that has proper equipment to fix this bend (hopefully). Can anyone recommend a place that can I could ship this too and repair and is this cost effective vs trying to just find a new one? Any help is appreciated as this is a total frustration!

Try asking other tire shop. I had bent my rims few years back and they fix it for me like 150 for a rim. If that's not possible in your area you can buy 1 new vossen rim. Save you the hassle

There's at least 3 or 4 wheel straightening shops in my area, so I would imagine there are some in yours. I've had three different rims straightened by one of my shops and they did an awesome job, charging me 150/wheel. Google search "rim repair" or "wheel repair" with your area in the search parameters. When I did, I got these guys:

The local place I took them to said that due to my particular Vossen wheel (22' CV1) and the lip being stamped on the front that it would be nearly impossible to straighten out that bend without making the wheel look like dog *****. I'm at a loss on what to do...

Three of my wheels are bent on the inside and one is bent on the inside and face. Rim repair shop said that they couldn't fix the one with the bent face but the others are fixable at $125 a wheel.

Typically when wheels are straighten they use a hydrolic ram to re shape the bent section. Your wheel...that one in particular doesn't have a lip that's rolled out for the tool to push on. Honestly your best bet is to just buy another single wheel. Another option is to take advantage of their warranty. Look to see if there are also manufacturing flaws on the wheel. I had an even older set of vossen said that had some hair line cracks in the inner barrel. No bends at all but stress cracks. I sent them the wheel after emailing them with pictures. They sent me a specific return order number and they sent me a new wheel. They will not cover a replacement if the wheel is just bent though.

FWIW, I actually had my OEM wheels straightened at my Lexus dealership. They used a traveling wheel specialist that would come to the dealership when needed. They did a great job straightening and reconditioning my banged up wheels to "like new" condition. Its worth a call to your Lexus dealership.

Dude I had a pretty good bend in my stock 22" 08 Denali rim, so good, my tire lost air after getting bent. I took it to Alloy Wheel repair in Crofton Md, and they did a pretty good job getting it straight. I had to leave the wheel for a couple of days then came back to get it put on. cost me $150 and was worth it.
