I recently purchased a 2008 LS 460 and have enjoyed the car very much. Both my wife and I really like the very smooth ride, great lines on the body and the interior that is just ellegant.
Going forward we are looking to use this site to help us fully enjoy our Lexus.

Huge congratulations to you Sir!
Glad you and your wife seem to e enjoying the car thus far. Its a pretty solid vehicle with undeniably fantastic interior/exterior finishes.
As you may have seen already, the people here are fantastic, as this is a great forum.
Lastly, when you have a few moments, don't be shy and post a photo or two of your new LS! We love photos around here, as we're nearly all very proud LS owners!
Congrats once again!

Reverse of Buyers Remorse
As is often the case when we make a major purchase, as in the case of a newer automobile, we feel terrific, pleased and highly confident we made the correct decision. Then after a few days or weeks, we may have second thought about the purchase. Was it the right color, did I pay too much, is it the best vehcile for my use. The list goes on and on. This is buyer remorse.
In my case with my purchase of the LS 460 the reverse is true. Yes, I was pleased with the car when I made the deal. The real thrill came after that when I drove the car from Florida to Minneapolis. As many have said on this site, the more I drive the car the more I enjoy it. This is the case with me. Every time I get in the car it just feels great.
To put this in perspective, I have owned two Mercedes Benzs, two Audis and currently have a 2008 BMW X3. My previous car was a 1999 Aucra RL which when it left my possition it was still running strong and had 190,000 miles. So far I have enjoyed the LS 460 more than all the others.
The one drawback is having a rear wheel drive car and living in Minneapolis where the winters seem to go on for ever. Not to mention the snow, ice and brutal cold temps. My solution to this is a set of Bridgestone Blizzazk snowtires mounted on Lexus OEM wheels. They make all the difference in winter driving. I found the wheels/tires on EBay and it was well worth the expense.
All the very best to the members of Club Lexus who have reached out and given me such a warm welcome to the group. This is very much appreciated.
Best regards,
Baxter007

Welcome to club lexus!
Don't worry too much about the snow. I've used snow tires in both winters I've owned my car, and I've never even come close to a problem (even that one time last February when it was raining and sub-freezing and the roads were dreadfully icy and the wind would gust oh-so-much)
You'll be pleasantly surprised to find out how capable a heavy RWD car with snow tires is. Way better than AWD/FWD with all-seasons. And the snow tires make a huge difference braking and turning
I use a shop called carspec for all my service. The technicians are excellent - the most knowledgeable and conscientious technicians I've ever met. They're in Eden Prarie and can hook you up with a loaner.
I was less than thrilled with the craftsmanship at Lexus of Maple Wood, they broke a number of fasteners on my LS430 when I was in for a timing belt service.
