is this acceptable?
My Ls got hit and run, the car got hit on the driver quarter panel. brought my car to Sewell Lexus of Fort worth for the repair. After the repair done, the quarter panel look good but the rear bumper cover is not so good. the corner piece where the bumper meet the taillight keep sticking out. I pushed it in and it looks ok but after awhile it pop back out. I notice the paint has small crack. I called the repair adviser and brought the car back for the fix. After over a week, I got the car back. It looks ok when I got the car back, but now it pop back out and it is worse. what should I do now?
This is the first accident repair for this car.

No! I backed into a neighbors truck he'd parked in my driveway & had body work & new rear bumper and that same panel replaced mine looks great - yours looks lime mine did after the accident. I had mine repaired locally w/ a shop noted for outstanding work. I wonder if they cut corners on yours! My bill was about $3300 as I recall

Nope have them fix it to Lexus quality standards, and let them know this is a super luxury car, not some pinto.

They only replaced the bumper they need to replace the "J" shaped retaining clips on either side.... i know as i just did this.. (bumper was put on an off 20x) also make sure they use and tighten the 10mm screws. Clips cost about 100 ea...

Just for future reference you should always request someone come out with you and explain the work that has been done after the car is fixed. They will be embarrassed when they see the quality of the work in front of you. Some may even pass it off as the best that they can do and you can tell them if they could have it in writing so you can get a second opinion somewhere else.
I'm not supper critical but that work is certainly not acceptable.

No way! This is unacceptable and noticeable. Keep going back until it's done right.

+1. It's the clips that fail over time and if damaged. I just replaced the J clips and back to perfect after looking just like yours. Good Luck!
