Personally, I'm going either Pirelli or Michelin.
I did. The factory Bridgestone tires as I said were not very good.
Each manufacture makes a lousy tire from my experience but there will be a few models within the brand that are going to be outstanding. The Michelins that came with my Accord were the most horrible tires I have ever owned.

I had a chance to drive my new Bridgestone RE970AS Pole Position today since being installed and they are simply outstanding and maybe a little bit better the RE960 which I adored when I had them on the BMW. The turn in is crisp and it rides more like European sedan then a Lincoln.
The only tire that edges these out are the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 however they are roughly $200 more and have a slightly rougher ride.
Don't throw the manufacture under the bus as every brand has good and bad tires in their line up.
