Before and after pics of my new ride. Wheels/tires
Finally getting around to posting pics of my car. The first pic is from the day I picked it up at the dealer last week. The second pic was taken today after I mounted the tires and wheels, which were actually bought last Summer and mounted on my previous car (2003 BMW 745i). I was very fortunate that the wheels and tires were pretty much direct fit with just the addition of hubcentric rings (27 bucks). Sure sets the car off IMHO.
The wheels are 20" TSW "Strip" in a staggered setup (which I love on RWD cars).
The tires are Falken FK452's 275 35 20 rear and 245 40 20 front
I also decided to get the carbon fouling off the exhaust tips with a little ultra fine steel wool and lots of water. Turned out great.

You didn't lower your car, did you?
I am looking for either 2009 or 2010 LS460 (Can't decide it yet because of the air suspension on 2010 would be okay with me or not-I had some problems with my 2001 S500, air suspension) and thinking about putting 20 staggered set with a coilover set.
The car looks nice!

Thanks folks.
Korlexus: No it's not lowered, nor will it be as I need my car to be comfortable and previously lowered cars I've driven, felt terrible. It's a compromise between looks and comfort for me.

Cool! Can you share and post up your setup in the 460/600 wheel and tire thread using the format template? It helps others in their wheel research.https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...85#post8151085

Great thanks..I think your front and rear wheel sizes are reversed on that thread by the way. Appreciate you adding to that forum. I wish everyone would be as accommodating as you and contribute to that thread
Fixed.
You're welcome. :-)
