Default DIY: Cooling Fluid Change

Has anyone changed their own cooling fluid? I am approaching a 100K miles and would like to know how difficult a job this could be. Any useful hints?

What happen to all the DIY guys?

I changed my oil yesterday and took the opportunity to look for coolant drain plugs. I found one at the bottom of the radiator and one on the drivers side of the engine block. The one on the radiator is easy to get to, the one on the engine block is next to the exhaust system and looks like a nightmare to access - I took the metal shield off under the engine just to find it.

Like to see what the shop service manual says about this service; better yet has anyone done it?
