Default Yokohama YK580 tires?

Anyone using these tires on their 460? Discount Tire says they are the best for the 460 and I need to get a new set tomorrow. My current Michelin Pilot Sport tires only lasted 15k miles.

Pilot Sport, super sport, ps2? I had yokohamas one time. I got more flats with those tires and wear issues. I'd contact Michelin and see if they can't help you on a new set. Pilot super sports have given me many miles of smiles.

I think the yk580 is a tire only make for Discount tire so they have a big incentive to push that tire.

I had the Pilot sport AS2 on my Ls. They were a very good tire but they lasted just under 40000 miles. I received a nice credit back on the tires due to the mileage warranty.

Next I has Continental DWS. The worst tire I have ever owned. They had 5 side wall faliures in under 8000 miles. One was my fault I hit a curb hard. Other tires would just pop the bead off the wheel but these tore a nice hole in the sidewall. The other 4 were just random failures.

Now I have the Bridgestone Turenza Serenity Plus. They have about 12000 miles on them and so far so good.

I love my YK580's! I have them on my LS430 and FAR prefer them to the Michelin MXV4's...I actually returned them to Costco! haha. The Yokohama's are much better handling, you can feel the road but the ride is very smooth, and excellent cornering. very quiet too.

BONUS: they occasionally give a $100 VIsa gift card on these...ask for when they do that promo. (I got it)
