Default tpms brand ...for winter tires/wheels?

putting a set of new snow tires on spare dedicated OEM wheels [2009 ls460 base AWD]. I think I will install tpms, too. I see various brands of tpms sensors at all kinds of prices. Any recommendations on reasonably priced reliable tpms sensors?

wonder if Toyota dealer can calibrate sensors to receiver?...understand it has to be done EACH TIME wheels are changed from regular to snow and back...etc.

thanks
Mike

Default Winter tires

I installed Blizzak ws 225-55-18 tires on my winter wheels they are slightly taller and a little narrower than the factory tire size . Speedometer error was less than one mile per hour off at freeway speeds and they do not look as sporty as the lower profile tires but the snow and ice traction were amazing . Going with the 225-55-18 gets the latest thread technology also. As for tpms sensors I called Opel engineering 630-837-2900 ask for Sandy she set me up with sensors that matched my existing codes so I can change my wheels back and forth without having to have my computer re programed. good luck

You can pay that or do a search on this forum and find my post where new OEM sensors set of four can be shipped to your door for under $100 via eBay. You can also search on Orange TPMS which will flash your existing TPMS sensor IDs prior to shipment so you don't have to reprogram when swapping. It pays to search ClubLexus threads prior to purchasing anything..trust me on this. If you search Google for ClubLexus.com ls460 TPMS, this is one of the posts that shows up https://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=603030
