Default Driver Seat TSIB Performed...

But now the seat makes a beeping noise when it's being moved out (but not in). Everything functions flawlessly otherwise... Is this a new feature that 07's didn't have?

I dont think thats normal. I have an 07 as well. maybe we need to get an 08 or 09 owner to chime in. I would call your service rep to verify. How does the leather feel and look?? Some have said the leather is a bit more wrinkled and the leather itself is slightly more ruff to the touch. Have you noticed anything like this??

I believe this is a problem with the memory seat computer that needs to be re-initialized. To confirm, try to program a seating position into memory. If it beeps/doesn't work, then the seat memory can be re-initialized. This happened to me after I had front seat TSIB done. I went back to the dealer and they did it really quick. Alternatively, you might try this:

Good luck!

PS- I agree with I8's comments--the leather does seem a bit more wrinkled/not as soft.

Thanks all! I'm going to try the program and will report back. I haven't seen/felt a difference in the leather... Hmmm.

I had the exact same thing, beeping on recline just like a backup warning on a vehicle, plus the memory buttons wouldn't work. The seat just needs to be re-initialized by reclining all the way back then forward.

Tried to read that TSB..got to me some of the most complicated (or poorly written) instruction ever. Can someone explain it to me in plain English? Can I just follow that arrow pattern to initialize it instead?

If the issue is just that the seat beeps while reclining and the memory buttons don't work, just recline the seat as far as it will go, then return it to full upright position and you should be good to go.
