Fair price?
I'm looking at 2 LS 460L's in the TN/AL area both 2007.
1. CPO from Lexus dealership - 41k miles for 46k. Mark Levinson, Nav, Touring edition. Both parking assist options.
2. Used from Birmingham mega dealership - 30k miles for 44k. mark Levinson, Nav, rear seat upgrade, both parking assist options.
Is CPO worth 10k extra miles and a few extra k? The CPO is local.
Also - the touring package sounds like it may be taking away from what i like about lexus, the smooth silky ride down the interstate.....
Thanks for any help.

I suspect you could find an '08 with the same price range (especially 2.)
So I'd either get an '08 with the same price or negotiate the price of No. 2 ($35K - $38K max).
A friend of mine bought a Starfire Pearl '08L for $40K sharp with 22K miles only on it. So good deals do exist. Just look for one.
Good luck!

i would agree with JFNash, you could get these for under 40k. Right now they are really dealing on the LS460s especially in 07 and 08.
You may have to go outside of your area a bit, but the deals are out there and not as rare as they were in Jan of 2010.

In February I bought an '07 SWB silver with nav, ML, comfort pkg, winter mats, with 7,000 mi for $45000. It was a Toyota corp car with documentation. Then I paid $2000 for a platinum extended warranty. All the electronics has me cautious. That's probably a little too much by today's pricing but I have a low mileage car that will have current styling for another year.

What's a Good Price for a 2009 LS460 w/13K Miles
I ran the Edmunds.com Private Pricing and Trade-in models with respective options and it calculated:
Outstanding
Private Party = $50,681
Trade-in = $47,877
Clean
Private Party = $49,161
Trade-in = $46,377
That's a range between from $46K to $51K...
What would you offer based on the above or does the above not reflect the current state of the economy (i.e. cash is king and used cars dont hold up like the pre-2008 financial melt-down days)???
TIA

No. 2 - LS 460 L with rear seats upgrade that's mean side widow shades and rear seat stereo controller for $44K at 30K miles is a very good deal. I've been looking for the last 10 months and nothing around the southwest come under $55K.
