Default !?@!?@ Lost Engine cover retaining clip

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-clips-3.html

Curious me, I decided to pop off some of the plastic pieces to admire the engine in my 09 LS. One of these clips then catapults itself into the engine bay.

Does anyone know the parts number to this contraption? I think its 90467-07201. I have included a fellow CL members scanned description to one of these infernal devices....

Thanks!

haha, i know there are a few types of clips, i would probably just drive to dealership and ask the parts guy to look at your engine bay to make sure they get the right ones

Common problem, I've lost several that would not stay locked down when I went thru the same drill. Pop by your dealer and tell them they appear to have simply come off, and they will put new ones in for you. Typically, no questions asked. J

Try this site: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0. It's the Carson Toyota parts site. It will show you a description of the clips that you want. You can order from them or print the picture and take your dealer. Good luck

This info was in an earlier post on the forum and I couldn't track it down until today.

Lexus Clip Part #s

The front and side clips are # 90467-07211.

The rear clips that are on the right side rear are;
90467-A0016-C0 (3 are needed)
90467-10170-C0 (4 are needed).

You can order them from http://www.toyotapart.com/

When I checked the prices today they were

90467-07211 - $0.95
90467-A0016-C0 - $0.65
90467-10170-C0 - $1.03

Cheers,
Charles

If you're near a Lexus dealer, they'll replace for free. No problem.
