if youre talking about that stupid plastic hose clip, i just used a small flat tip screwdriver and a "L" hook to pop it loose. basically all you have to do is keep the screwdriver and hook inside to keep the latch from locking.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! I'm ready to do my air to steel swap but I'm nervous about cutting off the air lines and then running into a snag and not being able to button 'er back up and use the car while I figure out the problem. I may give the ole screwdriver and "L" hook a try if no one has that 'stupid' plastic tool (that they want $58 for!),
