Lost a front tire at 75 mph this morning

Thank you for the well wishes. Really the only thing I had to do was re-initialze / program the tire pressure warning system. It is actually rather funny to look at the directions in the owners manual regarding this system. Ridiculous. It has never turned on before since I purchased the car. What's also surprising the how similar the tread is between the two. Like they copied each other or something.

Re-setting TPMS is a small inconvenience ... blown tires at high speed can be lethal. This just happened from a blown tire here in IL:

My brother witnessed an suv blow a front tire in the slow lane, it was probably doing 70 mph or so, then it crossed all 4 lanes of traffic and slammed into the center divide and start flipping down the highway. Brutal. It's no joke. Really should have one hand with a good grip on the wheel at all times. Admittedly, not something I always do. I think this is why many loose it. You must immediately counter steer the vehicle to maintain control.
