Hey all -
I have been tinkering for over a week and I haven't found the silver bullet to solve this for a 2004.

I have an AVIC-5000NEX Pioneer unit for my 430. I soldered in a TYTO-01 adapter (what best buy installer said I needed). The car has a stock (non ML) stereo. The unit gets power no problem but the stock amplifier is not putting out any sound.

Ive talked to crutchfield, Pioneer, Lexus dealer, and Metra. No one can specifically how to wire for the stock amp to turn on. My car DOES NOT have the Blue/wht wire for the amp on signal. I watched every lexus install vid, read every post on these and related forums.

I have an install appointment in about 10 days. Anyone have a solution? This year seems to be a 1 off. Do I need a module like a some bypass ON module etc?
