Thanks for the update. I just experienced the same thing as you where, after a while of working perfectly, it connected randomly to iTunes and would not let me pause and go to another app nor display correct text on screen. Message was "Check BT Device" on text. After a couple of re-starts of the car/ignition - the issue seems to have gone away.

Maybe a glitch.....hopefully goes away permanently.

I installed MML system from Vaistech today and I must say I'm very impressed with sound quality
Full use of steering wheel controlls etc... For a 15 year old car I can't complain. Great upgrade and worth every penny
The only issue I had was the Vaistech connectors are rather difficult to install..The pins inside required a little "adjustment" to line up correctly.

This is one of my gripes as well. Every time and I mean every time my BT is on it starts playing my Itunes music with a random song. Also, if I want to listen to an audio book on Audible or such I press play, book starts, then 3 seconds later the book stops and it starts playing some random song. It does this 3 times before it will stay on my book. I swear one day I'm gonna rip this thing out of the car and throw it out the window.

I have sent it to Eugene thinking it was defective. No problem found was the answer I got back.

At first I thought it was a defect as well. Then realized that this is an emulator cheating the car's system into thinking there is an MD Changer installed. So for all purposes, the car's system is trying to play a song from the "MD Changer" which happens to be the iTunes music app and a playlist song if you have playlists set up or a random radio channel.

I can live with the default of having to pause an iTunes song before connecting to my Pandora or other apps.

To round off the Vaistech install - I just purchased a Panavise custom car mount off Amazon (cheapest source) and a Proclip phone holder off Ebay (cheapest source again) and installed both together using a screw towards the right side of the dash just as pictured on the Panavise website. I had to drill out the phone mount holes a little to make a set of screws that I had laying around work but it came together very nicely and holds the iPhone perfectly. Recommend this combination highly! The Proclip is the 511430 model which is made to hold 9mm to 13mm phone plus case combinations.

How do you do this? Do you set up a play list in itunes then immediately change it to pandora?
