I swapped out my old plugs (Denso) with NGK last fall at 125k miles. The old plugs looked pretty good and probably would have gone another 25k miles. The engine was running smooth before, runs smooth now so I didn't really notice much change. MPG stayed the same as well. Toughest part of the job if you can call it that was making sure the new plugs did not cross-thread on insertion. I used a slight bit of anti-seize on the threads to make life more pleasant for the next guy who does this down the road. There is a whole school of thought on using or not using anti-seize compound. I went the middle road.
