Default air shock rebuild?

I've searched, has anyone rebuilt their air shocks? I've found other air shocks rebuilds but not for the LS430.

Thanks

This is the only company I have found. $799 each.

http://www.suncoreindustries.com/lex...suspension.php

I would find a nice used unit first.

the brand new ones are only about $200 more with at Sewell with the clublexus discount. I'd get new.

I found a company in Poland which provides regeneration of air shock for LS430 for around 330 USD plus 270 USD for security deposit (old shock has to be send to them after)
Here is their website and some video showing regeneration and testing of BMW 8 series E31 shock:
http://www.nagengast.pl/regeneration-en.html

I didn't try it yet but I think when my shocks will die then I will give them a try

That's a great deal. Shipping from the U.S. to Poland might make it cost prohibitive.

Well I won a used set off of E-bay and I plan on taking them apart to try and see if I can source the seals. I figure that the o-rings can be cross referenced with Parker orings and the bladders repaired.

Please keep us updated with that project. I also have a set of used air-socks that I purchased when I got my 430 a couple of years ago because I was worried about the suspension. They are not brand new but are in great condition. Only have 45k miles on them when they were removed. But if I can refresh them and do a few things to help them out I would definitely do it.

It's the actual bag that fails...either buy new or used. There is no magical "cheap fix" for a bag that has dried out and cracked

I don't think anyone is looking for a magical fix but having new bags and bushing or whatever else they do for 1/2 - 1/4 of the price is a great idea. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be available here in the US

I am having a rattle or bobble noise from the front driver side, and I have checked everything and it seems tight, just curious how do you check the air bags?
