Gen 4 GPS drive part numbers
I found several threads and articles relating the plug and play swap-ability of Gen 4 GPS drives into a car originally equipped with Gen 2/3. The sole part number generally recommended is 86841-50090.
I notice that the Gen 4 system is available in several different vehicles over a range of model years. I found that drive units from different cars have different part numbers on the units even though they are all supposed to be Gen 4. They come at different price points also, hence the interest in broadening the list of compatible units
My question is, does any sort of cross reference exist that lists all the Gen 4 units? Do the different part number GPS units use different harness connectors?
I have a 2002 LS430 and am looking at updating it to a Gen 4 unit and new data disk for it. Just trying to pin down my options.
Thanks for any info

Pole Position
No blueman2, there are 2 part numbers: # 86841-0E010 is the same as # 86841-50090. It doesn't matter what vehicle the Navigation drive player came out of - other than newer model year is better (ex. '06 is "better" than '04 because it's 2 years newer). These units were in Toyota Prius, for example, and installed under the seat, protected from and compared to the harsher environmental conditions in the LS trunk wheel well. I provided detailed info on a CL thread about this subject.

Cool, thank you, I appreciate that info, exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. I either missed the thread or missed the part number as I did a fair amount of searching through threads and FAQ's before posting.
I found a 86841-50090 from a 2008 sSC430, just wondered if I could find something cheaper by searching for other part numbers.
Thanks again for your comments.
