CD eject/Load problem
The deck says its full (6 disc) and when I try to eject them it says error 3 and does nothing. Anyone know how manually take them out or trick it to eject? I havent used the CD since I've owned the car so I'm just noticing this. Thanks for any help.

I can't recall what error code I had when I had this issue. I ended up having to remove the player and open it up, I did not completely disassemble the casing though. I opened it enough to let the disc be removed. I had 2 cds inserted in the same tray..
The index card trick did not work for me...

similar problem I could see the edge of a cd and used 2 butter knives to remove it, one on top and one beneath. destroyed the cd but after I removed all the cd's the unit works fine.

When I got a CD jammed in my LS, ( it was one that someone had attached a label on the front ), I disconnected the battery for 3 minutes. When I hooked the battery up, the CD ejected itself !

owners manual says take it for service. ha ha ha also says not to play homemade cd's as not all are good quality and might cause problems. I only play store bought cd's now and have not had any more issues

Like another had said, Pull the battery of the car for like a few min.... I see this problem sometimes(very rare but, it does happen) too and after I pull the battery, it resets it and the discs ejects...

This happens all the time in both of my LS430's. If you disconnect the battery for a little bit and then hook it back up the CD should pop out.
I was told burned CD's cause this issue. I just use an iPod cassette adapter now. Once I get some extra cash I'll put a new headunit in there.

But if any CD has a label stuck onto the surface, it will be thicker and may jam the CD unit. I have played home burnt CDs in my LS almost constantly with zero issues. The CD that jammed my player had a label on it.

Don't need to read it as I have had the car 4 years and play home burnt CDS all the time with no issues - ever .
Home burnt CDs "may" be poor quality - and not PLAY properly on your factory stereo, BUT this has never been true with all the CDs that I burn and play in my LS.
They will not jam the mechanism !!!!!!!!!

For some reason my CD player occasionally jams also. I'll just give the dash a solid bang just to the left side of the CD player. This seems to re-align the cd or laser....and I'm then able to eject all the CD's.. I then clean them all off and then re-install them.
