Default DIY subwoofer box

I had 2 10w6 came with JL custom box but they were too loud for for any of my passenger so i wanted to have just one 10w6 . The jl 10w6 with box costs 600 bucks so i decided to take matter in my own hands. Bought 2 pieces of mdf for 13 bucks each, a roll of carpet for 6 bucks on ebay, 1 can of 3m adhesive spray for 12 bucks, a jigsaw for 30 bucks, borrow a saw machine from my uncle, printed out the jl audio box dimensions and 2 days later i have my subwoofer box total for 74 bucks.

Nice Job. Is that a sealed box? I have 2 8 inch focal subs in a prefab box made by ground shaker which I bought for 45 shipped. I figured I could build my own box but, the quality was good, its made in the USA, and the labor and materials would be same price so why not.
