Lexus LS430 Ultra (2005). Check VSC / Check Engine / Traction Off
Hey Guys,
Was driving home and the Check VSC simultaneously with the Check Engine and Trac Off. What could be the problem? Any clues?
The car seems to be running fine. Had the right side suspensions FR and RR changed a week ago. Could that be the problem?
Regards,
F.

Amazon.com: INNOVA 3160 Diagnostic Scan Tool with ABS/SRS and Live Data for OBD2 Vehicles: Automotive
If you don't want to buy one of these, I know for 2001-2003 model years there is a procedure to pull the codes by jumping some pins on the OBDII (DLC) connector with a paper clip, but I'm not sure if this is possible for your car. If you can get a hold of the service manual it will tell you for sure.
Otherwise your best bet is to take it back to the shop that did the suspension work and get them to pull the codes. It could be any number of things and its best to find out what exactly is wrong before you start replacing things.

Checked it with a local auto shop. Plugged in the scanner and gave the evaporative emission code. Turns out it was because I had the car washed under the body. So the fault was temporary. Code was cleared and the car is running smooth.
Thanks for suggestions.
