Ken my ride is not bouncy at all, i have my dampening set at 2 from being all the way hard, so i i have a pretty stiff ride but don't really lose any ride comfort.

I think they can go lower than his picture goes. My LS was on stock 18"s at that height and it could have gone even lower. You could probably drop it to the floor if you wanted.

You can purchase them through SonicMotor or CircuitMS here on the forums. The LS classifieds is also a good place to check if you want a used set.

Went with the Megan EZ's... Gonna make time this weekend to install them myself. Just wondering though, will I need any special kind of tools or it should be basic ratchet n right sized socket?

Also, should I immediately get a wheel alignment or wait til I drive a certain distance to let the coilovers settle in?

I think you should be alright with basic tools.

I never got my car aligned after I installed the Megans. I'd let them settle at the height you want and then get it aligned.

Thanks, Kira X. Always helpful!

Lol so saying you never got an alignment, are you saying an alignment isn't necessary?? Please elaborate.

Then if I get an alignment, how much time or driven mileage constitutes "letting them settle" before I get the alignment done?

Take it to an alignment shop and let them know youve added coilovers and would like to bring it back in a month to recheck and adjust. they should adjust the pricing

You're welcome!

An alignment is definitely necessary. I just never got one because I had to adjust my height so much once I got new wheels. I also plan on getting a strut tower bar, sport sway bar, and getting BC coilovers soon so I'm not in a rush to do it.

I would say about two weeks if you don't drive the car that much just to be safe. My height changed a little bit after it settled and it took about two days. However back when I had lowering springs on my SC300 it progressively got lower over the month I had them on . I went from tucking the top of the tire to tucking rim in a few weeks.

You always have the coolest stuff!

How much would a setup like that cost?
