thanks for the tip.i was like you and i greased up all seals and still had the creaking .i greased the seal on the side that you did and my noise is also gone.i used dielectric grease which i have used on my seals for over 35 years.thanks again and a excellent post.

Maybe this is a repeatable fix. If anyone else gets the same result, post here to let others know.

Funny thing is that whenever my doors start creaking, I grease up the seal that runs across the top of the window and the sound disappears. I've never even touched the seal you have pictured, but I guess it can't hurt to grease it anyway.

Drove me nuts too
I bought the Shin-Etsu that everyone is talking about here and applied it thoroughly to the rubbers around the doors. I stopped hearing the noise from the driver side but I could still hear it coming from my left, both front and back. I was going crazy so I put my friend in the back and told him to pay attention and let me know where exactly is it coming from. He couldn't hear a thing which made me furious. He thought I'm losing it and that I'm actually hearing things. I asked him to drive and hopped in the rear. Turns out it was the sunroof. I used the S.E. on it and now it's gone. What a relief. I was about to take it to Lexus for complete teardown and reassembly.
For the life of me I can't figure out why this is doing such a thing. When the windows are rolled up all the way the doors make a creaking noise when ever you drive over non smooth pavement. It's all of them! If you push on the top of the door panel I can duplicate the noise. I sure do not feel like pulling off each of these door panels to see what's going on. Any other suggestions?
