I have a 2006 LS430 Ultra Luxury model. Recently the passenger mirror was hit by accident by a passing pedestrian and the glass came out along with the guts of the housing. The mirror is intact but the mechanisim that holds and moves the glass is all screwed up. I was thinking of buying a used mirror and just replace the insides. Good idea? The dealer (Stealer as the forums refer to them) wants approx $600 to replace. My question is how difficult is it and how do i remove the housing to fix the insides?
