My AC stinks fix

My AC stinks fix
I tried the deodorizer many times before and also replaced the cabin filter and made sure the drains are not plugged. This issue doesn't seem to want to go away. So, I went ahead and bought this kit that injects the foam treatment almost directly into the evaporator, I guess. We'll see how it works.
Remove the cover under the glove box compartment.
This exposes the the ducting between the blower and evaporator.
.25" drill bit with stopper.
Drill anywhere on the flat section, this was the best spot I can do with my drill setup.
Fitting that comes with the kit.
Fitting installed.
Can with the hose and fitting attached.
Followed the instructions which was,
Hook up the end of hose to the fitting. Start the car up, turn ac full blast while set on outside air, empty can contents. Shut car off, let sit about 10 min. and start again and turn AC on. Disconnect hose from fitting and install supplied cap on the fitting.
Re install cover.
Put on new cabin filter.
That's it. Enjoy clean smelling AC!

I got the kit from the dealer since I was already there to get some filters. I am sure similar or the same kits are available from other shops. I chose this method after trying the other stuff that is sprayed on the intake ducts up under the hood, I used several cans of those. I also heard about the ones sprayed up into the drains. I thought this kit has the best chance of fixing the issue because it is closer to the evaporator and the flow of air will force the stuff even more into it.

I had a smokey wood burning smell in my car from a bond fire a couple friends and i had two weeks ago. I thought is would go away but didn't. I took it to the dealer and they did an ozone cleaning through the entire air system. They said it hooks up to the receiving vent that sucks internal air and releases a air chemical like a bleach type that kills all bacteria, mildew, or whatever in the vents and gets the car smelling good again. Cost me $42 and took like an hour long. Car smells great now and its the same process they do when people trade in cars with cigarette smell inside.

My dealer service advisor told me that they used Ozium and it only required a few squirts into the outside vents. I purchased a can at Pep Boys for $5 and it really worked. If I get even a hint of a bad odor I use it sparingly. I also use it yearly after replacing the cabin filter.
Previously I had used Lysol brand spray, which didn't really work very well.
