Best way to connect Android phone to LS430 stereo system?
#46
This is an old thread, but any idea if I can install this Grom with a car that currently has Satellite radio? Before I tear into it, I wasn't sure if there was only one add on "port" to the factory unit that i could use, or if I needed a single unit that could do everything.

Sorry to dig this up again.
I purchased the GROM - TOYLU2P for my 2002 Lexus LS430 and I have been given such the run around. I got it installed and it worked for the first 30 minutes then it just stopped and the radio wouldn't power on. I pulled the module out and my radio worked again. I sent it back and of course the module worked for them. They later stated that this unit would work for my car US Version. it was only intended for overseas cars and they didn't have anything for me.
I am soooo confused. I had to pay for install and shipping while waiting for them to fix this problem. We are at the point of just returning my money but now I do not know what to get.
What are other people successfully using for bluetooth streaming and phone use?

I use the factory BT for my calls and the Vaistech SL3B for music. Works with the factory controls, sounds great. Install took less than an hour.
Could not be happier with the thing. No wires hanging out, nothing in the glove box.

Loving the Vaistech SL3B! Just installed it with the help of a friend. My cassette player gave out finally which. I was using for an Aux input, so i had to find an alternative. I wish i had gotten this thing a long time ago. It gives you track title and artist info, and the steering wheel controls work too! Loving it! I am actually only streaming audio to it from my iPad (unlimited data). It works with a lot of A2DP enabled devices.

Looking For Solution for bluetooth/android integration for 2003 LS430 any HELP??
I have a 2003 LS430 with Navi and ML system. I was reading the threads and noticed that some of you mentioned the vaistech option, a GROM option, and saw an Audiovox ooption. Which one works well with the 2003 LS430 and does it give you track and artist info on navi screen as the factory cd changer does not. Any help would be appreciated. Also is it true that the GROM option doesn't work for American made LS430s
