Default Headlight Polish with Wenol Ultra Fine

Howdy:
Bought my '01 UL last week (see my previous post(s)). Weekend weather too crazy in CA to work on her. Garage Queen, but the 13 yr old headlights were a little foggy. Taped em off with 3M blue, put the Mother's PowerBall on the drill motor, a bit of Wenol Blue Ultra Soft (both cheap on Amazon) and the headlight lenses are pretty much damn near like new!!!!!
Really completes the look!
A little touch-up paint on a nick or two probably tomorrrow, first with Meguiar's Ultimate polish then their Ultimate wax and I'll be close to ready to post finished photos!!!!
Loving this set of wheels!
Thanks, Randy

looks good

ive tried many different thingas for the headlights on my old SC400, and the only real way ive found to get them looking like new and KEEP them that way , is to literally sand the headlights, and then clear coat them.

Not trying to be a negative guy but check your lights in 3 months , chances are they will yellow again.

But no big deal u can just give them a quick polish if need be

congrats on your new purchase btw,,white is one of my fav colors for these LS's

Those look great! I have found waxing and sealing the headlights keep them from yellowing too quickly

You can buy the 3M brand or similar plastic sealant and apply to the headlights. The sealant has UV inhibitors and bonds to the plastic. This will GREATLY slow the rate at which the plastic will yellow and fade. Apply monthly and you will mostly likely only have to re-buff the headlights once every 2 years

I'm sure Barry Meguire will personally thank you for that lovely promotional.
Seriously though, their products are good.
I've used 2000 grit paper followed by a polish with Blue Magic and wax. Seems to work well too.
