Newby here. 2005 LS430
Hello Lexus world. I had a 92 LS400 prior to this one 2005 LS430 and I am loving it. I just noticed a slight throttle hesitation around 25-30 mph. I've been reading on here and I believe it's the TPS. If you go apass the 30 mph point it seems to clear up. I cleaned out the throttle body. It was not so bad to cause the hesitation though. Any thoughts on this. Also, how do you reset the A/C filter code? It does not stay on but I will change it since it's so simple.

on the a/c filter reset I beleive you hold down the off button for more than 4 seconds.
As far as the hesitation, is it the engine itself hesitating or is it the way the trans is shifting? I know the 430 drivetrains tend to shift into high gears early on for fuel economy, sometimes they almost shift too soon and then the throttle response becomes a little worse.
You might also want to clean the MAF, it's easy two screws hold it on use a can of cleaner you can buy at any auto parts store. See if the airfilter is clean while you are at it.

Thanks .
Balfor, thanks for the help. I will try those things this weekend. It seems like when the trans shifts into the higher gears, it seems a little sluggish or a slight hesitation. I was thinking maybe TPS though. Thanks for your help though.
