Aux in - options
I have a 2005, with a installed SL2Vi from Vaistech. I like the ipod controls on the steering wheel, but I really would like to add an aux in to the stereo.
I would like to be able to plus my droid or sirius aftermarket radio via Aux into the stereo.
I have tried using the tape deck with a phillips cassette to aux, but the quality is horrible and I can't take it.
What are my options to keep my SL2Vi and add a aux in. I don't use the cd player and I am wondering if I could swap this out in some way to achieve aux in. I was even thinking of mounting my sirius aftermarket radio (stratus 6) inside where the cd player is because it would fit.
Any advice would be appreciated. I tried called vaistech to ask the same question and they said I would have to swap out the SL2Vi and not have the ipod and aux in. Thoughts?

A brand new solution from Vaistech is the MediaLinQ Plus (ML+). It has digital audio and digital video but works as of nav gen 5 (2005 LS430 is gen 4)
Also brand new is the SL2iC. An aplication guide is located at http://img2.imagebanana.com/img/6t0p...2ic_MLplus.jpg and more details are available at http://www.vaistech.com/products/home.php
Owners report frequently about issues with other adapters. Buying one except from Vaistech is wasting money. The cheaper the less of course

Thanks for both replies.
I am thinking beatsonic is the way to go, cheaper than vaistech. I already have a vaistech SL2Vi.
My question is if the beatsonic is compatible with the SL2Vi. I was trying to find some details on installation for beatsonic, but I can't seem to find much. I like the fact that I don't have to take the nav out for the beatsonic, but I could run into problems if my vaistech is already using certain plugs..
