Is the LS430 the second fastest Lexus?
Not much faster, but my wife in her LS can pull at least half a car length to 60 over my SC430. Last night I was out with the kids, and playing next to a IS350. We bested him two lights in a row. Is the F the only Lexus faster than our 06 LS? I phone app puts my LS to 60 in 5.7 and our SC at 5.9

No, the (IS-F as you mentioned) IS350, GS450H, GS460, GS350, GS430, GS400 are all faster than the LS430. I'm not sure off the top of my head the specs of the LS460.
Oh, and of course the LF-A is faster than pretty much everything Lexus offers

yeah i was wondering how come you didn't take any of the gs's into consideration. i use to have a gs400 with exhaust, intake, ecu chip and i tried to go against a stock gs460 one day and i couldn't keep up with him. you don't see many but the gs450 is pretty fast. our ls430 is better than most is's but that's about all. i thought the is350 was supposed to be faster than the ls430 too?

Lol it's not quite that dismal; the LS430 is faster than a bunch of the other models including the 2G IS250, 1G IS300, ES250, ES300, ES330, ES350, HS250, SC300, SC400 (except the 98+ vvti models which would be a close race), SC430 (close as well but if you got a newer one with the 6 speed tranny it would likely be a very close race), 2006 GS300 third gen, GS300 2nd gen, GS300 1st gen, all the previous gen LS400's, the 2001 - 2003 LS430 (courtesy of the 2004-2006 6 speed vs 5 speed transmission) and all the many varieties of LUV's (RX, LX, GX).
The list of what its "faster than" is much longer than what is faster Of course all these are OEM / stock comparison.... strap even an inexpensive turbo kit on one of the 2jz-based cars (IS300, GS300) and they'll be a lot quicker pretty cheaply.

LFA, IS-F, IS350, GS450H, GS460, GS350, GS430 (both 3rd and 2nd gen) / GS400 are all faster than the LS430. I don't recall specs off top of my head for the IS350C but suspect it is quicker as well.

a turbo is such a wonderful thing isn't it ???
with a few good supporting mods and about 10k total you could have your older gs or IS competing with porche's and lambo's. alright maybe 15k worth of mods...
are there any awd lex models that can easily be turboed or have a bolt on kit available??

I listed them more or less in order of performance in my post above, more like 10th
LFA, IS-F, IS350, GS450H, GS460, GS350, GS430 (both 3rd and 2nd gen) / GS400 are all faster than the LS430. I don't recall specs off top of my head for the IS350C but suspect it is quicker as well.

Lexus rated the LS430 '04-'06 at 5.9s to 60 mph. That's pretty good, but many Lexus vehicles currently will best that by 10th's of seconds. The current LS460 I think is 5.5s, while the GS's are pretty much all sub 5.9s. IS-F is in 4.7-4.9s range. At the time the LS430 was current, it probably was the 2nd fastest, but it's since been passed by a few Lexus'.
