Well, I wouldn't repaint my LS...nothing like factory paint. But, if I were to purchase another one, I would try and hold out for a Lexus green in UL form with the Ecru interior.

so if god forbid something happened to the body of the LS and insurance cuts out a check that would cover a color change... you would repaint it the original color?

Unless the $'s were enough to cover a complete repaint (i.e. under the hood, door sills, trunk, etc..)., I would not even consider a change in color. Nonetheless, if damage to my car required a complete new paint job, or allowed me to repaint the whole car, I most likely would not want the car much longer anyways, so would end up selling.
