Here in GA they don't inspect our cars like that, we only have to worry about emissions when your B-Day rolls around. Big pay day for the state, nice racket they have making you pay for a tag each year. Oh and if you drive a high end car/SUV you pay even more lux tax added on to your tag.

FIRST OFF,,, thanks again tee, i probably couldn't have done it (future) without you. that is so freakin cool that they put those little plastic things in the way, then at dusk when people get home from work and try to change out their lights they will have a hard time. well maybe its just me, thats awesome that it will be so easy now that i have some proper instructions.
about the state inspection thing. i firmly believe that it would still pass functionality wise but the color would definitely be an issue in at least the state of VA, where anything that is not that gay *** yellowish stock white color is considered aftermarket, and therefore illegal.
the functionality of the high beams is still there, as in when you click it into high beam mode and you look, the lights do in fact light up, its just since they are a blueish led bulb they do not put out enough light to light up anything past like 30 ft. so they don't appear as though they are working if you are on a dark road and put them on, but they do in fact come on... you can still flick your lights at oncomming cars to signal them to go ahead or for peeps to walk in front of you and what not.
hey workedit i suggest you make friends with a state inspection place,,, i knew plenty of gas stations in NoVa (herndon) that would give you the inspection sticker for a 20$ (tip). not sure where you are located in va but especially with the economy the way it is i'm sure you can find someone to pass you. its really not that hard to just take it to the most run down looking gas station you can find that offers the inspection, take out a 20$ tell them you are a little worried about the lights passing inspection (ahead of time), tell them that you would like to know before you pay for the inspection if the lights will pass, ask the dude to take a look at the lights with you and show him the lights, hand the guy the 20$ and tell him that 'you just want to know if it will pass'. he will probably take the 20 tell you that it shouldn't be a problem and then pass you. if he is the rare % of our society that has all kinds of morales he will not take the 20 and tell you that it will probably not pass, so take it somewhere else. this always worked for me in my younger years, i.e. 2 years ago and previous... but now i got md tags and i'm so happy i don't have to put up with that va bullship anymore...

I placed the order for the Kit....
http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...2745/SFV/32481
On Fri b/c it has the everything you need in the box, far as the fogs i have no idea. The LED's i bought from SB were not bright enough even with the modlules form Veled, due to not having a enuff LED's on them.

I'm trying to change out my DRL's. Can anyone provide me with a new link for this LED kit? The link above says the item is sold out.

V-LED has phased out the kit and made a new improved version but not in kit form, so you will have to order what you need separately. You will need to buy two light modules to boost the half pwr to full for the LED's to work.

looks like only the bulbs themselves are out of stock. the modules seem to still be in stock and the modules (2) are all you need to make the magic happen... you could put numerous different kinds of bulbs in there you just need the module to make them run at full power then just plug in some 9005's (i believe have to double check) and your good to go. but yeah like tee said post up some pics to see what the light looks like with other bulbs.
