I recently purchased a CPO 2004 LS430 and I love it. I bought it from a dealer that is 200 miles from where I live. When I got the car I deleted the previous owner's phone and phone book information and set mine up.I have a LG VX8300 cell phone with Verizon Service. When I connected my phone through Bluetooth I was not able to transfer my phonebook automatically. It says that on the Lexus owners site so I wasn't surprised by it. That is no big deal since I don't have a ton of phone numbers anyway. What I was surprised by is that the NAV/Phone system will not allow me to manually set up a phone book at all. You can set the numbers up as a 1-touch but it will not allow you to manually enter the name. I took it to my local dealer and the service advisor told me to speak with a salesman since they know the most about the NAV/Phone setup and use. A salesman tried to help me out but couldn't get it to set up a phonebook either and he had no answers at all. He asked some of the other salesman and they told him that unfortunately 2004 LS430's only let you manually set up or edit the phone book if you had a T-Mobile or Cingular phone. I find that hard to believe but I had already spent an hour there and I was't getting anywhere.

Does this seem correct or are they full of it? If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it since I would like to be able to use the phonebook feature? Thanks for your help.

You're the Best!!! You and madkow70 that is!!!! Thanks for your help. I'm sure once I buy a Siemens S56 I'll be able to set things up. I knew there had to be a way to get the phone book set up. Thanks again!

I borrowed my brothers phone, non Verizon, and downloaded like MADKOW70
said and it worked great but how do you input the names for the one touch?
Anyone have a clue?
