My dealer told me this was normal... My LS only does this in "Sport Mode" ONLY, not the normal mode... do I have a different type of problem???

Has anyone determine if this changes the Alignment of the vehicle? For those who have not aligned the vehicle, do you notice any additional wear on the your tires?
For those who have aligned their vehicles, was it required? did you get your print out showing the before and after?

Lux only?
Does the air suspension come on the Lux edition only? (I already did the search and got nada).
Can anyone compare the ride quality of the air suspension all the way down, with a set of lowering springs?
I am in the market for a LS and want to enhance the look with a nice set of 19" wheels, and a 1.5-2" drop. One feature I love about this car is the ride comfort. I know by lowering the car, there will be some loss in the ride qulity, but the overall look is important, and to set it apart from the LS430 our grandparents drive, I beilieve it is a must.
Any opinions?
THanks in advance.

It's only available on the Ultra.

Sorry, I can't, but I can say that with my Ultra lowered with both the Datasystems controller and the manual adjust down (fronts only) it's down 2" in the front and 1' in the back with no difference in ride quality. In my opinion you don't need to mess with the springs.

See above, no loss in ride quality for me.

I realize that, what I'm interested in finding out is what the specs were BEFORE the alighnment and then after. They give a print out showing this information.
Thanks for responding though.

No way of telling unless you have the alignment shop tinker with the height sensors while on the alignment rack. If you adjust it and then take it to the shop, yo won't know if it was off from your driving prior to the adjusting. My guess is that it would affect the camber because adjusting the wheel would make it normalize at a different point in its normal range of travel. We've all seen grossly overloaded vehicles which have their rear wheels sticking out like bowlegs.

So guys, what are the specs of measuring the distance from the ground to the middle of a particular suspension bolt that the repair manual says ?
anybody ?
I would like to measure the distance and see if I need any adjustments or not...
Thanks.

I know this is an old thread but the pictures are very helpful. I'm trying to adjust my air suspension as the fronts ride higher than the back so it looks like the car is squatting. I'm doing the job now, but unfortunately the bolts and nuts on the fronts are pretty rusty. I tried to wd40 them to get them loose but when I try to turn the 10mm bolt it just turns the whole rod and tries to bend the metal top plate that attaches to the sensor on top.
Is there anyway if just taking the whole rod off to adjust off the car? I see this weird star shape 10mm bolt that holds the bottom of the rod to the lower suspension arm. Also the same star bolt that holds the metal plate that the top rod attaches to the sensor. But I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take off the top bolt holding it or will it break the sensor.
