I'm close to pulling the trigger on a '05 LS with the Ultra luxury/Pre-collision package with dynamic radar cruise control. Has anyone experienced any negative effects on their radar detector when the radar cruise is activated??

My 2001 LS430 Ultra has the radar cruise control and I've used my Passport detector with it. No problems. You got me curious though. Wonder if it affects other peoples detectors as I am driving down the road? Guess it doesn't really matter though... not my problem. If this was the case, I'm sure you'd really notice all the Caddys etc that have this feature when using your detector... I bet it uses another frequency...

I have a late '04 Ultra with radar and pre-collision. I didn't think I'd like it, but now, I think its fantastic. I don't use a radar detector but I've had absolutely no problems.

yeah i don't think it will affect your radar detector, it probably will affect other people's though

I used a radar detector and the dynamic radar cruise control on a trip from California to Texas and they did not interfere with each other at all. My guess is that the frequency radar the Lexus uses is completely different than anything the police use so radar detectors do not detect the signal.
