need help
Guys,
I need help with this strange problem on 93LS.
the brakes are spongy, and ineffective. given these symtoms the following was done:
brake booster replaced
master cylinder repalced
all callipers checked
new rotors and pads
changed brake fluid
system bleeding done 3 times. most recentlly today...
here's what I've noticed today,
the spongy pedal feel instanly goes away and the brakes are effective IF i turn off overdrive.
as soon as the OverDrive butoon is pressed to OFF mode, brakes are working great. as soon as it push the button to default (O/D on) brakes go back to the spongy feel...
How is the brake system connected to the overdrive button ? and if it's not why is the O/D button chaging the behavior of the brake pedal and the way the vaccum build inside the brakes function ?
any ideas would be appreciated..
