Default Saw 2004 LS430

Just passed by today to take a look at some new cars while i was looking i saw a ls430 with weird lights i went to look at it and i was like this is the 2004. To tell you the truth the back looks narrower from the updated lights the only thing i like is the brake LEDs lights nice and bright i wonder if i could change my lights to those if any one knows let me know??? I really like the 2001 2002 2003 more it looks more muscualar in the front and it looks wider and lower in the back. Even the sales associate agreed with me.

He agreed with you because he probably has a row of '03 leftovers and perhaps some 2-3 year old used cars to unload. Once they are gone his tune will change real fast!

Well, I kind of hope the '04 IS uglier since I just bot an '03. As to the 17 inch wheels, they are nicer looking and give a great ride but I wonder how much tires are going to cost (vs "normal" 15 or even 16 inch wheels). In Pittsburgh I was going thru tires, even with religious rotation, pressure monitoring and balancing and alignment, every 20,000 on my 1999 Mercedes S320. I HOPE this isn't going to be as bad. 30,000 would be nice, like my wife gets from tires on her '03 Mercury Mountaineer (it's at 15K now and has at least that much left).

The view of the front of the 2003 is more muscular and better looking then the 2004 the 2004 is ugly in the front and the back is to narrow. Do the 17 inch tires give a smooth ride? how bout softness?

Style is subjective. I would never buy any previous LS430 because they looked so feminine. The '04 finally returns to the masculine past of the LS400 imho.

saw the 04 at the dealership today and its a beauty
they had it sitting next to an 03
the front of 03 is so bleh
04 has more personality and then some
for a mid life redesign.. they did it right!

I agree with erick the 04 is alot sleeker in the front with the headlights swept back as well as the grill. But to each his own. Check out my baby on my thread. The 04 looks mighty nice in the garage. Take it easy everyone.
