New toy again
I just got my Injen Intake today. But I was buggin from my allergies all day, but I still installed it lol.. after work. I feel like crap now Even though it still uses the stock MAF, I think the straighter intake pipe of the Injen will flow better than the stock intake pipe. The setup only costed $177 and it retails for $290, so I was like what the heck, just buy it I said to myself.
here are a few pics

Injen cone with heat shield, but I think this type of shield will make performance less effective because it slows and air flow and the shield will heat up the air coming through once it gets hot.

I think the shield is aluminum and will actually help as it will pull the heat out of the air making for cooler air to hit the intake
Where did you get this setup for $177? Can you post a pick after install, I would like to check it out and maybe any noticable difference you can tell.

Looks like the HKS cone would not fit with the injen heat shield......Looks nice. It seems like Injen used 3" aluminum pipe with expansion of .25" to fit the 3.25" MAF and 3.15" Throttle Body. I was hoping Injen would use a true 3.25" pipe.
