Picked up another blk/blk ucf20 last night
Well, i really wasn't in the market or looking to purchase another one of these, but i couldn't pass up the deal. I'm not sure what i'm going to do with it at this point. It's a '98 with 116,xxx on the clock. The interior is near perfect aside from the center vent bezel that needs to be replaced. The exterior needs to be cleaned and that's about it. Mechanically, it sounds as if it's the right control arm that needs to be replaced, because it makes a squeaking noise when turning at parking lot speeds. Any advice on where to get one would be appreciated! I'm going to change the oil, check the fluids, and put some tires up front this weekend. She should be good to go. If any of you know someone in the TN area looking for a good, solid car, i may have it up for sale, if i don't fall for it. Well, i tried to post pics from work, but it's not happening. Will post some later.

Way to go Brandon! We just recently did the same. My friend just picked a 2000 because she loved the reliability and comfort of mine and my pop's.
1998 - 155K Bronze Mica w/ Tan
1999 - 222k Alpine Silver w/Grey
2000 - 135k Black w/ Black
These cars are absolutely incredible. Before you dish out the dough for the UCA, check out the sway-bar bushings all around as I too had this problem and it was fixed for less than $100 and a little free time.
Good Luck

are the sway bar bushings and strut rod bushings the same? whenever there's enough heat there'll be like a faint creaking noise that's noticeable if you listen... is the strut mount also a possibility? in terms of handling and ride feel how would you know that a control arm is suspect?
