Default ls400(ucf10) seems sluggish

last night me and my cousin had our exhaust done. we did alittle red light pull to next traffic light. i did get him out of the hole but he then past me up like it was nothing. about car and half he beat me by. now why does my car seem sluggish compared to his? we are similiar in mods, tires, wheel size.

many factors to consider, including reaction time. you might be similar in mods but the condition of the cars could vary by a lot. these cars are very sensitive to mods to one might have learned to compensate for the exhaust faster than another, sensors could be reading differently, capacitors in the ECU different condition, transmission shifting, etc.
