Default tire size.

Ok ive had my LS for about two weeks now and I need to get tires. I have a new set of 245/50/16 tires off my 98 pontiac grand prix gtp. Will they work on these cars? Or will they rub the fender lips over bumps and when I turn?

The difference between the 225/60-16 and those are -3.8%. How low is the car sitting and what wheel specs? On a stock height car and even modestly lowered, this should not pose any fender contact issues.

Bone *** stock.. plain on dropping in the future but only 1.5 - 2in. And stock rim. Im guessing the rim is a 7in rim like a grand prix

usually i am against using tires with any more that a +/- 2% difference due to inaccurate speedo readings, but as mike stated you should not have major problems running that size.

stock is 225/60-16

If planning on keeping the stock springs the KYB GR2 is popular.
