Air Suspension Conversion Update
This past December 2013 I bit the bullet and did the complete Strutmaster conversion on my 1995 LS400.
Other than some rusted bolts and rather strange positions I had to get into to break them loose, the install went fairly straight forward.
Now at about 1,000 miles on the new suspension I'm still very happy with the results. No longer am I dragging the *** end of the Lexus when the left rear decided to deflate.
I did run into a couple of problems. Both were 100% my fault.
1. Don't break your ABS speed sensors. Also, don't forget to plug them back in if you disconnect them in the trunk area. I broke the right rear and ordered one off Amazon (Complete Harness) for $99. It is working fine.
2. Don't forget to fully tighten down your brake calipers. I installed new sets of pads while I was doing the install. On the left front I didn't tighten the bolts enough and after a day they were coming loose. I could hear the "CLUNK" when I hit the brakes. Luckily I caught it before something major happened.
I now have some things that may be of value to people.
(4) Ride height sensors.
(3) working air shocks (1) dead air shock
(1) a junction block for the rear Air system.
I guess I should start a thread in the Buy/Sell. Do these things have any value?
Overall, I'm still very happy with the results. I should have done this a year ago when I started having issues.
Very best,
Zoraone

Which I learned after I broke the first one :-)
I was basically reading the instruction wrong. Where it said I should disconnect the harness I took as take the whole thing out.
Live and learn.
I will start a tread. See if people need something.

Well, I started a FS thread in the FS section for LS400.
Candidly, I have no clue what the items are worth. I looked on the auction sites and saw shockingly high prices!
So I looked for used versions and cut that price in half.
Thanks,
Dustin
