Hi,

I am new so if I post anything not allowed please let me know so I can fix it. I have a question, I wrecked my 1997 ls400 on the driver side, tore up fuse box and everything on that side. I purchased a 95 as a donor car. The people fixing the car hooked everything but it is just clicking when trying to be started. My question is does a 1995 wiring harness work on a 1997? Any help is much appreciated.

Regarding JDM models, Toyota has revised the wiring diagram in August 1996. More than 20 pages were renewed. This simply means that there are differences but I don't have enough time to compare them precisely.

nope. '97 used an immobilizer and had side-airbags. While parts of the harness may swap out, the major stuff is unlikely to.

You'll need a '97 harness specifically.

thank you guys very much. Anytime we have an issue with out lexus. I can always refer to this site and pretty much find out what I need to. It is amazing the knowledge everyone on here has!!
