Default Transmission pan gasket and stuff?

Hello.

"What did you do to your LS today?"

Well, we changed 2.1 litres of Mobil 3309 for the fourth time. One more and it's all changed. This is basically because I do not know what has been used in the past. Now I know what's inside - trans is working really well.

Because of this can you please confirm that the transmission oilpan gasket is Felpro TOS 18685?

----------------------------------

We had one thing left on the list to do and that was the steering pump valve.

We had earlier put bearing ***** in the hoses by the intake to prevent ATF from entering intake. Mine has not smoked but it was loosing ATF a bit but I was unsure if the valve would leak. As we took the two hoses off the car they were full of ATF. Now the valve has been welded shut and reinstalled.

Thank you all for this tip.

Yes, I understand. But since there is a gasket available I prefer to use one.

Thanks for confirmation, LSCowboyLS.
