LS Almost Stalls When Coming to a Stop?

I appreciate the imput. I'm sure that this product has helped people with some of these issues, I considered it, researched it, but I'm not going to use it. AND IM NOT DOING A 5 SPEED! lol. I'm dropping it off this weekend to have this thing diagnosed. I will definitely update the outcome. Again, I appreciate the input. (Except for the 5 speed swap)

Update. .. had the trans looked over and the guy says that my solenoids are fine. What's going on is the valve itself is getting stuck and he is going to "ream" the valve body. He said that he has fixed this issue many times before with a trans being stuck in lock - up. He also told me that this is what many transmission shops will do and claim that are replacing a valve body. Anyone heard of this or have any experience? It kind of makes sense. And at this point I do not see a less costly alternative. He's quoting $400 and he's 95% sure it's the problem.

the price sounds reasonable if it works
valve body is, in fact, the most likely culprit at this point
it's just very strange for an Aisin, never even heard of one having a valve body problem, in fact, I did not even realize they made a Sonnax (reamer) for this transmission! (which tells you how often they are needed on A340E)
he may have fixed this issue "many times before" - but not on our Aisin transmissions!

I'm back.... lol I have been dealing with the shudder since. I did a few partial drains and the issue was somewhat contained, only shuddering once and a while
Well, now the transmission is shot and I have another trans being pulled for 300. While I'm swapping them out I plan on doing the rear main seal. My question is, what else should I look to do while I have everything out? Thanks. Please share any links for parts.
