About to pull the trigger on a 98....quick question.

Nice looking car, I love the cream interior - that will be my next color!
Just one word of caution: I've been reading about the infamous engine sludge problem on v6 Toyota engines, and it seems to come from too much of a temperature difference in certain parts of the engine - the oil that gets too hot in some areas only to be properly cooled down in some others, seems to create the sludge problem... so I would check for that and would only use the highest quality engine oil and change it frequently.
Just my $0.02.

Thanks for the advice! I hadn't heard that, but plan to fill it up with synthetic at every oil change interval. I looked through the es330 side of the site for things to look for. Heard about the rear window issue and some tranny issues with regard to perceived rough shifting. Anything else I should be on the look out for?
