Brake issue: Rotors or Pads?
I haven't been in here for a while now but I have an issue with my car. When I step on the brakes, my car shakes pretty bad and its coming from the passenger side. Idk if its the rotor or brake pads. I was planning on replacing both rotors this weekend just because I have a feeling its the rotors. The brakes aren't making any noises. Can anyone help me out a little? Would this be the rotors or brakes causing my car to shake when I brake? Thanks.

You could potentially have one caliper seized and sticking on, resulting in basically permanent braking from one wheel. That could easily cause extreme brake pad wear on one side, result in extreme heat which would crack and glaze your current brake pads, and cook and warp your rotor. After a decent drive try just holding your hand over/on the wheels and see if one happens to be much hotter than the others, but by all means I would check those calipers if/when you do your brakes. Check that the sliders slide in and out smoothly and easily, and that the caliper pistons push back. You'll be able to tell if it is seized, it'll be like trying to compress a brick lol.
