Side Mirrors Not Moving - Fuse Or Motor?
Hi,
My 92 LS 400 has been just put back on the road after a year and a half of sitting idle in the one spot, in the Texas heat. The passenger side mirrors no longer move in any direction. Both of them. I was wondering would this be a fuse or motor problem & how best to diagnose it?
Thank You.

There are other items that may disable the function. The switch, the controller, cables, connectors.
I would check the voltage and the current at the fuse first.

You can download the factory service info from Toyota directly. It's something like $10 for a day access and you can download and keep the PDF's.
When the mirrors stopped working in my LS400, diagnostics with a DVM showed that the controller located behind the glove box was bad. $50 for a used one and I was back in business.
